Gambling Commission launches 2017/18 business plan and invites the industry to have a say on plans for next three years

The Gambling Commission today (6 April) published its Business plan for 2017/2018 outlining its focus and priorities in key areas for the next financial year. 

This year’s business plan will focus on five key areas:

  • empower and protect consumers
  • raise standards across all gambling sectors
  • build partnerships and understanding
  • ensure fair play on the National Lottery
  • improve regulation.

At the same time as publishing the business plan, the Commission also invites key stakeholders including consumers, the industry and public bodies to contribute their views to help shape its three-year corporate strategy. Chair of the Gambling Commission, William Moyes encourages all with an interest in the work of the Commission to share their views:
